Terms
The terms
The agreement for using Creato, in plain words. The short version: what you put in stays yours, and what Creato makes for you becomes yours.
How we handle your data is in the privacy policy; who owns the files is in the licence.
Last updated 22 October 2026. Creato is run by Viresco Ventures.
1.What Creato is
Creato turns a business idea into a brand: a short interview, names with domain checks, three visual directions and, with a kit, the files, guidelines, copy and website that go with the one you choose. These terms are the agreement between you and Viresco Ventures when you use it, on the site or through the API.
- The free preview is the interview, the first names and the first directions. Up to 3 can wait at once.
- A kit (Starter or the Launch Kit) is a one time payment for one brand and unlocks its files.
- Studio is a monthly subscription that adds content, pages, edits and regenerations across your brands.
- The marketplace sells brands Creato has already made, each once.
2.Your account
You need an account to start a brand. Give a real email address you can read, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what is done with it, including with API keys you make.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 16. If you use Creato for a company, you confirm you may agree to these terms for it.
In a workspace, its owner decides who joins and what they may do. Editors can change the workspace's brands and viewers can see and download them, so invite only people you trust with them.
3.Paying
Prices are shown before you pay, with any partner discount already taken off. Today a Starter kit is $79, the Launch Kit $149 and Studio $29 a month. Payments are taken by Stripe; Creato never sees your card number.
- A kit is paid once and stays with the brand. A Starter brand can move up to the Launch Kit for the difference.
- Studio renews every month until you cancel it from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Studio stays until the end of the month you paid for.
- If two people buy the same marketplace brand at the same moment, the one who was second is refunded in full without asking.
- Where the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, nothing here takes it away.
4.What you put in
Your idea, your answers, your own words for the website and anything else you give Creato stay yours. You let us use them to make and run your brand: store them, send them to the design model that writes and draws with us, and show them back to you and to the people you share a workspace with.
Only put in what you have the right to use. Do not ask Creato to copy another business's name, logo or look, or to make a brand for anything unlawful.
5.What Creato makes for you
Once a brand is on a kit, what Creato made for it is yours to use, change and sell, commercially, without crediting us. The details, including the typefaces, are in the licence.
6.Names and trademarks
Creato steers its suggestions away from well known brands and looks up each name's domains. That is a first screen, not legal clearance: it does not search trademark registers, and it cannot see every business that trades under a name or every country you might trade in.
Before you register a company, buy stock or file a trademark, search the trademark registers where you will trade, or ask a lawyer. Domain results are a snapshot from the registries at the moment of the check; a domain can be taken a minute later.
7.Websites and the people who use them
A published site is public. You are responsible for what it says, for the offers and prices on it, and for any domain you connect to it, which stays yours at your registrar.
Messages and sign ups sent through your site's forms are your contacts. Creato keeps them for you; you decide what to do with them and must treat them as the law where you trade requires, including telling visitors how you use what they send.
The Launch Kit includes 12 months of hosting. After that, Studio keeps the site hosted. Without it we may take the hosted copy down after telling you; you can always download the site and host it anywhere.
8.Fair use
- Do not try to get around a plan's limits, the API's limits or the checks on what Creato makes.
- Do not overload, probe or attack the service, or read other people's brands or accounts.
- Do not use Creato to deceive people, to pass yourself off as another business, or for anything unlawful.
- Do not resell access to Creato itself without an agreement with us; partners have one.
9.Keeping Creato running
We work to keep Creato available and your brands safe, but the service is provided as it is. Parts of it rely on others, such as the design model, the domain registries and payments, and can be slow or unavailable at times. When a step cannot run, nothing you have made is lost; try it again later.
Creato will change as it grows. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will say so on the site or by email before the change applies. Using Creato after that means you accept the new terms.
10.Liability
As far as the law allows, Viresco Ventures is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost business or the cost of a rebrand, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid Creato in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or for death or injury caused by negligence.
11.Ending
You can stop using Creato at any time; download your files first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
If Creato itself ever closes, we will tell you in good time so you can download your brands and move your sites.
